No. Our advice and coordination service is completely free to clients. We're compensated directly by the regulated professionals and service providers we introduce you to, so our recommendations stay independent of any fee you'd otherwise pay.
No visa is required for short visits. UK passport holders can enter Cyprus visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. A residence permit is required if you plan to stay longer or relocate permanently.
Under the 183-day rule, you become Cyprus tax resident by spending more than 183 days there in a calendar year. The 60-day rule offers an alternative route: you can qualify with as few as 60 days in Cyprus, provided you don't spend more than 183 days in any other single country, aren't tax resident elsewhere, and maintain genuine ties to Cyprus — such as a home or business interest.
It's an investment-based route (Regulation 6(2)) to Cyprus permanent residency. It requires a minimum qualifying investment of €300,000 (plus VAT) across permitted categories — such as a new-build residential property, commercial property or share capital — with at least €200,000 paid before the application is submitted, alongside a minimum annual income requirement.
Non-domicile (non-dom) status is a Cyprus tax regime offering preferential treatment on certain types of income — including favourable rates on dividend and interest income under the Special Defence Contribution — for a defined period after you become tax resident. Whether it suits you depends on your income sources, so we introduce you to a chartered tax adviser to confirm the detail for your situation.
Cyprus operates a national health system called GESY, funded through social insurance contributions. Once you're registered as a contributor, you and your dependants can access GESY services; many residents also choose to arrange supplementary private cover. We help coordinate your GESY registration as part of settling-in support.
From 1 January 2026, Cyprus's standard corporate tax rate rose from 12.5% to 15%. It remains one of the more competitive headline corporate tax rates within the EU.
The standard VAT rate in Cyprus is 19%. A reduced 5% rate can apply to the purchase or construction of a new primary residence, typically on the first 130m², subject to area caps and other conditions — we'll confirm eligibility as part of your property search.
Yes. We coordinate international removals and shipping, including customs paperwork, and can guide you through vehicle import, local registration and driving licence exchange. Pet relocation requirements vary by country of origin, so we'll point you to the right specialist for that too.
It depends entirely on the route you take — a straightforward EU registration can move quickly, while an investment-based Permanent Residency application or a full property purchase will naturally take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline for your specific plan during your free discovery call.
